Outfit # 170: Vintage Flare

This dress is so cute and fun and the plus side, it has vintage elements which I love. The high scoop neck gives this dress a girly quality and the A-line skirt flatters my body type by giving me shape. Adding a skinny belt really breaks up the dress's monochromatic look a bit and even a yellow belt would be less matchy matchy and add even a more unique quality to the look. I chose gold accessories to tie in with my cognac colored booties. Choosing a nude color shoe would also work and the pluse side would be that it would give the illusion of longer legs.

Outfit #169: A Great Summer Outfit

I took a light weight A-line skirt and paired it with a light weight multi colored striped top with string details. I tucked the shirt in and belted the waist to give myself a waist. Always belt at the waist to give yourself some shape. The neutral belt breaks up the blues in the outfit. Also it's best to wear a pattern on top and a solid on the bottom. I chose gold accessories because of the gold hardware on the belt and the shoes. I also chose wedges because it's the perfect summer shoe. Add a bright yellow scarf and a smaller snake skin neutral color wedge shoe to instantly change the look for a more dramatic fun summer look.

Outfit # 168:Summer Sophistication

This outfit is meant to be casual and girly. The girly comes from the ruffles on the blouse and the casual comes from the bermuda shorts. I added the boyfriend cardigan for cooler summer nights but rolled the sleeves up for some styling. I added a white leather cuffed watch to keep the look casual and also added wedges to keep the look fresh for summer.

167: Cali Inspired with a Hipster Touch

Graphic tanks with loose fit is what makes this California inspired. I layered a black tank underneath the white tank as a layering piece due to the elements on the back of the tank. I like graphic shirts that have pops of color and this tank is so cool and fun. I chose light washed jeans to give it somewhat of an 80's vibe. I added pops of color with turqoise accessories; along with a long stone and feather necklace. Lastly, I chose white boat shoes.

Outfit # 166: More California Inspiration

This look is casual laidback and influenced by the California lifestyle. It may have some matchy matchy elements to it but I broke up the whole matchy part up with a pop of ombre lens, white frame sunglasses instead of choosing black sunglasses. I took a slouchy striped tank and layered it over a black fitted tank. For my accessories, I took a white cuffed watch and a stone and feather necklace. Instead of shorts, I chose skinny jeans and added a styling element by cuffing them. It gives the look a little more appeal.  I kept the look laidback with tan flip flops and kept it girly with diamond stud earrings.

Outfit # 165: Refined Denim for Casual Looks

When I was putting this look together, I was channeling my inner Cali girl. I took a long flowy tunic and put a white bandeau top under it. I thought the turquoise tunic gave the dark denim a contrast and then by adding the feather necklace, it also gave the look some contrast. The turquoise in the tunic really brought out the turquoise in the feathers. To keep the look even more casual. I through on some blue and turquoise beaded bracelets, a wide cuff leather watch and my aviators. I kept the look simple by adding neutral flip flops.

Outfit #164: Refined Denim For Night Time

I took dark washed refined denim shorts went from a casual day of shopping with contrasting accessories, to a going out for happy hour with the girls on a Friday night. To replace the light weight cardigan, I chose a cotton blended blazer that is light weight and perfect for spring or summer. I added a black tank for extreme contrast and chose silver accessories to give it that refined night look. To give this outfit a little sex appeal, I chose strappy snake skin wedge sandals. These sandals wont hurt your feet and are extremely flattering.

Outfit # 163: Refined Denim Shorts

This outfit is fun for a day of shopping. It looks put together with a few simple accessories and it's perfect for spring or early summer. Stripes are still in. I took accessories with black in them to give a bit of contrast to the look. Also the dark denim wash gives the look a sophisticated contrast. I connected the whole look together with neutral on the top with the tan hat and the neutral color wedges. The denim shorts I am wearing aren't your typical jean shorts. They are cut with some sophistication and the slant pockets give them some refinement.

This outfit is relaxed and comfortable, yet fun and on trend. The shirt is comfortable due to the flowyness of it.It has a relaxed element to it with the ties that hang down and the cute buttons. I cuffed my skinny jeans and paired with surf shoes. I added a wide leather cuffed white watch to tie the shirt and the shoes together. I added a silver ball ring to also add a put together element.

Outfit 160: Simplicity

Once again, black and white always looks sharp together. I love this top and it looks good with any pair of pants. I chose my diamond stud watch and my silver ball ring. I kept my earrings simple with diamond studs. For my shoes, I picked closed toe black heels with silver studding around the toe area. I rolled the jeans up to add some styling. The shoes give the look a little something extra and the ring and silver studs on the shoes tie the look together.

This look is just simple, fun and laid back. I love this cardigan and it's truly one of my favorites. I love the mi between the sheer and non sheer parts of it. It keeps any look interesting. I paired it with my statement t-shirt and light wash skinny jeans. I cuffed both the cardigan sleeves and the jeans for some styling and to show the fun and laid back elements. Outfit # 158: COLOR!!!

I love everything about this outfit. It has a vintage feel to it with the cut and the polka dots but what I also love, is the use of mixing different colors together. Adding multiple colors to an outfit is so simple when you use just accessories to do it. Choosing wisely on your accessory choices can play up an outfit instantly. I chose a thin blue belt to break up the all over polka dots and to add attention to my waist. I added a cropped cream 3/4 sleeve cardigan for mild nights and to give it some extra style. To include more color, I chose yellow peep toe t-strap heels. The color choices of the shoes and belt make the look interesting. I kept my jewelry simple with just a silver flower ring.

Black and white always looks sharp together and on chilly spring nights, there is nothing better than cool biker jacket. I wanted to keep the look a bit girly and that is why I chose my Audrey Hepburn t-shirt. I rolled my jeans up a bit to add some modern style and to show off my caged heels that have some Grecian influence. I kept my accessories silver to tie in with the silver accents on the jacket.

Outfit # 156: Casual With Stylish Touches

I wanted to keep this outfit simple but I wanted to add some fun styling to it to make it a little more modern and make it stand outside the boring box. I took a chambray button up and paired it with white jeans. The neutral colored belt and shoes stand out in this outfit against the light colors; which not only breaks up the light color but the accessories pop and make the look interesting. Neutral sunglasses and a white watch with silver touches keeps the look cool and crisp. I rolled up the sleeves on the shirt to to make the outfit look not stuffy and was going for a more laid back look. I took only one front tail of the shirt and tucked it in to give the look a casual feel and to also show off the belt. These booties are perfect for spring because they are peep toes and are perfect for showing off a spring pedi.

Outfit # 155: White jeans cont.

I love navy blue and  kelly green together. The navy makes the green pop and the white in the jeans and scarf makes this look fresh and ready for spring. An infinity scarf is a modern update that is very popular right now. If you are scared of stripes, but would like to have the trend within your wardrobe, a striped scarf would be a perfect touch to any outfit. I chose a white watch with silver touches and a silver ball ring add some chicness. I rolled and cuffed the sleeves on the cardigan to add some styling. I also added a cuff in the jean to show that this is an outfit perfect for transitioning into the summer months. I added some neutral color flip flops to make this look a little more casual.

Outfit # 154: Dual Flowers

Turquoise is one of my favorite colors to wear for spring and pairing it with white jeans makes it that more fun. I cuffed the bottom of the jeans to make the look more interesting. I took a long draped neck tunic and paired it against the white jeans to make the color stand out. I took a fedora that has a band with layers of the same color family and a bold turquoise flower on the side which is removable to give me another option. I took a thin neutral color belt to coincide with the hat and moved the flower detailing on the belt to the opposite side to balance out the look. I chose a white watch and a silver flower ring to keep my accessories crisp. I chose brown gladiator wedges to contrast with the light colors on top.

This nautical inspired look is classic and young. I took a light blue pin striped ruffled tank top and put a navy boyfriend cardigan over it. The different shades of blue against the white jeans make this look intriguing and fun along with the contrast between the navy and the white makes the look pop! I kept with white and silver accessories to keep the look light. To finish the look off, I chose brown gladiator styled wedges. The cuffed sleeves mimic the cuffed jeans. The pocket detailing add versatility and the cinched tie bottom gives the shirt shape. To add some more style and freshness, I added my yellow and blue floral wedges.  I kept my accessories simple and fresh with a silver ball ring and a white and silver watch.

Outfit# 150 & 151 WHITE Jean Week!!!!

For Sunday I'm keeping my look casual and simple with white jeans and a collegiate t-shirt. White jeans are an instant classic for spring and summer. I chose a dark color t-shirt to make a contrast with the look.  I chose a white watch to keep it fresh. I also chose a hemp necklace with blue beads, which I  twisted into a double strand bracelet. Leather flip flops add to the laid back feel to this outfit and keeps it casual.

This look is bright, fun, and fresh. This bright yellow blouse with white polka dots instantly adds a youthful vibe to this outfit. The white jeans makes the white polka dots stand out. I cuffed the jeans to mimic the folded sleeves in the blouse. I wanted to keep the look bright and that is why I chose the white watch. However, a light aqua color watch would look awesome as well and would add a little extra aesthetic. For an added accessory, I chose a silver flower ring for an extra touch of shine. Lastly, I chose a neutral strapy wedge to keep the attention on the blouse and to keep the look fresh.

Outfit # 149: Spring update

First off, I would like to apologize for the lack of blogs lately. Lack of time has gotten the best of me. I will still continue to try and reach 365 outfits just not on a daily basis. So make sure you come back frequently to check. I will do the best I can to keep up.

This look has been updated just by switching out a pair of blue skinny jeans to white skinny jeans. It instantly updates and freshens the look. I kept my accessories simple. I took my white and silver D&G watch and matched the silver within the watch to coinside with the silver flats. Keeping the accessories light, keeps the look sharp and fresh!

Outfit #144: Spring dress 5

Spring is all about color this year however it's still acceptable to wear your LBD, (little black dress.) The reason this works for spring is because the fabric is light weight and it's also flowy. I chose to edge this look out and therefore, added a cropped leather jacket. I rolled the sleeves up for a styling element. I would have preferred to have an edgier necklace but didn't have one that fit up on my upper chest like the one shown. I also added some silver accessories.

I chose to wear a soft gold necklace to tie in with the gold hardware on the jacket. I then chose a brown belt and belted the dress at the waist. Outfit # 141: Spring Dress # 2

This dress is super cute with the ruffle detailing at the neck and the color is perfect for spring. I added a belt with a yellow flower to play off the blue. I added a silver flower ring and a white watch to accessorize this look. I didn't want to add a necklace because of the ruffle detailing at the top. I thought adding wedges for this look was quite appropriate and the fact that they are yellow with some blue flower detailing matches perfectly. The only thing that is missing from this look is my tan!

Outfit # 135,136,137,138,139

First of all I would like to apologize on the delay. It has been a super busy week! With this outfit, I wanted to add an extra layer for warmth and therefore, I added a long white sleeved turtle neck. I picked a white one because it gives an intriguing contrast to the eye. I took a belt and put it at the waist to emphasize shape because this is a fairly up and down straight looking dress. I added silver a silver ball ring and a faux diamond stud black watch to finish of the look along with my 40's style t-strap heels.

It has started to get warm here in Colorado this week and I wanted to pull some spring stuff out so I can enjoy the weather with season appropriate style. The only thing that is missing is my tan so sorry for the pasty whiteness! I took a yellow round neck shirt and paired it with a baby blue a-line skirt to give myself some shape. I love blue and yellow together. I finished the look off with a multi shade blue scarf added to my hair as a headband and kept my accessories light in shade with silver and white. I kept my earrings simple with faux diamond studs and finished my bottom portion up with some tan wedges.

I chose skinny jeans and wanted to add more interesting styling touches with the cuff at the bottom. I added a white watch and pulled out some cute sandals.

Outfit # 134: Sweater Dress and Fur Vest Combo

I took a turtle neck sweater dress and put a fur sweater vest over it. A styling tip I would like to change however, is not zipping up the vest but put the belt over the fur vest. That would create shape and dimension, instead of looking boxy. I kept my accessories silver so it could play off the grey fur vest. I also added grey calve booties with bow detailing so it would give the look a more fun feel. Diamond stud earrings complete the look.

The rounding of the collar flaps and the slight puff in the sleeves give this look a bit of a 50's flare. Adding a pearl necklace and pearl bracelets soften the look and give it a girly touch. I chose a black belt to cinch in my waist and to break up the blouse and the skirt. I chose another vintage touch by adding the 40's style t-straps. Lastly,  faux diamond studs finish  the look off.

This is an update to a look that I had done earlier in the blog.  As usual, Sunday's look is more casual but this one has a little more spice and has some late 60's touches. This cute micro polka dot blouse is paired with long and lean jeans that have a slight flare. I added a white wide headband to bring out the white dots.
I added some contrasting t-strap heels in a marigold yellow color. The yellow against the blue adds a great touch. Lastly, I added a white watch and faux diamond earrings to finish the youthfulness part of this look.

Outfit # 130: Ready For Some Springness

I am really looking forward to spring and anoraks scream spring. The one I am wearing is a cropped style with 3/4 sleeves and I chose to wear a navy striped shirt underneath for some added style. I took a skinny red belt and cinched it in at the waist to give me some shape and dimension. I cuffed my jeans for fun styling extra and chose red heels to go with the red belt. For accessories I chose a contrasting gold chain with flower detailing which you can't see very well. (sorry!)

Outfit# 128 & 129

Navy and grey are super cute together an they kind of remind me of military uniform. A solid navy tank top would look cute as well but I chose a navy and white micro striped tank added a navy and white polka dot scarf. A cute grey twill jacket with bow and button detailing, folded sleeves, and flaps makes this look youthful. All the detailing in this jacket, offers a unique aesthetic. The cuffed jeans mimics the cuffed sleeves. The silver ball ring and white watch complete the look; along with the silver ballet flats.

Outfit # 127: 2 in 1

I love items of clothing that look like two pieces but are really only one and this top is exactly that. It's cute and I love the ruffle detailing and the micro polka dots. The blouse part of the top is extremely girly and looks very retro. This outfit is a cute look for the office and it still shows some personality. I used simple accessories. Faux diamond stud earrings, a faux diamond accent watch and a silver ball ring adds shine. To add more vintage inspiration, I used my t-strap heels.

Outfit # 124, 125,126

For Friday's outfit, I wanted it to be youthful and girly. I took a plum colored blouse and paired it with some black cigarette pants. The thing that makes this look girly is the flutter sleeves and wide ballet neck. To keep this look youthful, I chose a draped black necklace with flower accents. The combo of black on plum on black has some sophistication to it. Ballet flats, a diamond accent watch and a silver ball ring all add to the girlyness of this outfit.

I added silver accents with a bracelet and ring. I finished the look off with t-strap paten heels.

I kept my accessories simple with a silver ball ring and a diamond accent watch.  My faux diamond earrings tie in with the diamond accents on the watch.
