Outfit# 128 & 129

Navy and grey are super cute together an they kind of remind me of military uniform. A solid navy tank top would look cute as well but I chose a navy and white micro striped tank added a navy and white polka dot scarf. A cute grey twill jacket with bow and button detailing, folded sleeves, and flaps makes this look youthful. All the detailing in this jacket, offers a unique aesthetic. The cuffed jeans mimics the cuffed sleeves. The silver ball ring and white watch complete the look; along with the silver ballet flats.

This look is is perfect for 60 degree weather in February! A short sleeved light weight sweater cardigan is layered over a simple black tank top. A long feather and stone detailed necklace offers this look a fun laid back feel and this look puts off an artsy vibe. I chose skinny jeans and cuffed them to add some styling and fun to the look. I kept my earrings simple as well with just faux diamond studs.

Outfit # 127: 2 in 1

I love items of clothing that look like two pieces but are really only one and this top is exactly that. It's cute and I love the ruffle detailing and the micro polka dots. The blouse part of the top is extremely girly and looks very retro. This outfit is a cute look for the office and it still shows some personality. I used simple accessories. Faux diamond stud earrings, a faux diamond accent watch and a silver ball ring adds shine. To add more vintage inspiration, I used my t-strap heels.

Outfit # 124, 125,126

For Friday's outfit, I wanted it to be youthful and girly. I took a plum colored blouse and paired it with some black cigarette pants. The thing that makes this look girly is the flutter sleeves and wide ballet neck. To keep this look youthful, I chose a draped black necklace with flower accents. The combo of black on plum on black has some sophistication to it. Ballet flats, a diamond accent watch and a silver ball ring all add to the girlyness of this outfit.

Saturday's outfit is something that I would wear Saturday night. I took a pair of satin pants and mixed a grey ruffle tank top with sheen accents throughout. To give a little more shine for Saturday night I chose to add a silverish sequined cropped shurg. This outfit is full of texture and it makes the entire look interesting. I added silver accents with a bracelet and ring. I finished the look off with t-strap paten heels.

As usual Sunday funday is designated for casual comfy looks and I took a grey cowl neck sweater and paired it with some blue skinny jeans. I wanted to add some toughness to this casual look and that is why I chose to wear over-the-knee flat riding boots. I kept my accessories simple with a silver ball ring and a diamond accent watch.  My faux diamond earrings tie in with the diamond accents on the watch.

Outfit # 123: Winter Shorts

I like to mix it up during the winter and yes you can wear shorts during the fall and winter just make sure you have some tights underneath for warmth. I chose to pair a sweater and a collard shirt underneath for warmth. I styled the shirt with rolling the sleeves up a bit for a laid back aesthetic while still maintain a chic look. You want to make sure that if you do wear shorts in the winter, you want them to be of heavier material. My shorts are a black and white tweed and that is one reason for my choice for the top portion of my outfit.  Cute booties, a silver ball ring, and a black watch complete the look

Outfit # 122: Collegiate Inspired

For this outfit, I was aiming for a collegiate fun look with the striped cardigan and striped scarf.  The chuck taylors keep this look youthful and fun and I paired them with a light wash jean for a contrast. I would add white watch to tie in with the scarf. This look is very simple to put together so if you have items that are similar, try it out. Remember also that mixing stripes regardless of the different size is interesting and fun. Just remember to have a similar color in both pieces.

Outfit #121: Colors To Bring Out My Eyes

I love wearing clothes that bring out my eye color and this olive green sweater does just that. This look is casual, comfy and laid back. The chuck taylors make it laid back as well as the layering of a simple white t-shirt. I am really not a fan of khaki pants but since I had to get some for work, I totally thought the color combo of the olive green and the khaki looked really good together. I kept my accessories gold with hooped earrings  because it plays off the shade of the pants.

Outfit # 120

I took a draped neck tunic and put it over some skinny jeans. I then put a black boyfriend cardigan over it for a layer since it's still cold out and to give it more of a casual look. I chose a chunky necklace to mimic the drapery. I added a belt with silver studs to give the look a bit of an edge. I also wanted to play with texture for this look and that is another reason why I chose the belt and the smoothness of the chunky necklace. I then offset those textures with suede black boots.

Outfit # 119 : Update

This look is very similar to one I did in November. The only difference is that I changed the coat and shoes out. I chose to wear a chocolate brown bomber jacket instead of a black cropped one and instead of flat black riding boots, I chose chocolate heeled boots. I think cream and brown really compliment each other and the gold earrings adds a nice touch. I didn't style this the same way as I did like in the last look because of the difference in style of jacket.

Outfit # 118:Geometrics

At the angle of this picture, this dress does not look flattering at all but I assure you it is quite cute. So if you have a strapless geometric print dress throw on a leather jacket and some cute accessories and you have a fun outfit. I chose to mix hard touches with girly touches. The shoes, jacket and belt toughen up the look and the chunky necklace keeps the look a bit girl. I also added a silver ball ring and a silver bracelet to tie in with the silver on the belt.

Outfit # 117 : 50's 60's Inspiration

The 50's and early 60's are one of my favorite styles of clothing and that is where I got my inspiration for this look. I took a pair of skinny dark washed jeans and cuffed them at the ankle. I took a lighter color blue button up for the top. The one item I wish I had to go with this look is a red cardigan. So if you have a red cardigan and have items similar to the jeans and shirt go ahead and add it! I added some simple and cute accessories including: a wide white headband and a white watch. If your bold wear some red lipstick and I would even add a bandanna to my wrist. Adding something with red it it would look really cute! Lastly, I chose a pair of silver ballet flats to complete the look.

Outfit # 116: Simple But Cute

This look is suppose to emphasize how simple it is just to throw something on. Any color of shirt could go under this jacket but I chose black because black is simple and looks good with everything; even if it's black on black. I buttoned the jacket to make it look more pulled together. Due to the fur collar, I chose not to wear a necklace and chose to wear a ring and a watch for my accessories. I picked heels with some silver studs to keep it cute. I cuffed the sleeves of the jacket to give it some styled elements.

Outfit # 114 & 115

I added some color to a simple black pencil skirt with a halter style blouse. To give the look some edge, I added the a silver stud belt. I added blue shoes and a blue chunky bracelet to tie in with the blouse. I also added a silver ball ring to tie in with the hardware on the belt and to add some extra shine. I love colored shoes and think the add some fun to any look.

This outfit is a fun classic black and white chic look . I tried playing with texture and fabric by using a satin tunic and a sateen cotton blazer. I cuffed my jacket sleeves and cuffed my jeans. I love dark washed jeans because when you cuff them it adds some contrasting color. I stuck with silver accessories to keep the look simple and classic. I chose caged style heels to add a fun aspect to the outfit.

Outfit # 113: Grey and Blue

I wanted to take a casual pair of flare twills and dress them up a bit but still keeping the look fun, girly and casual. Grey and navy are classic colors together. Therefore, I took these grey melange twill pants and chose to add a navy tank top with a lighter grey cardigan that had a girly touch with the polka dot bow embelishment on the cardigan. The polka dots stand out against the tank top. I kept the accessories silver and each accessorie has either a bluish or greyish tone to them with stones or beads. The necklace goes perfect with this outfit because it is a multistrand necklace that has blue and grey toned beads. The ring on my finger has a grey toned jewel in it and my ballet flats are silver as well.  I finished the accessories off with a white and silver watch.

Outfit # 112 : Chunky, Warm, Cozy Sweater

Since it is extremely chilly right now, I wanted to stay warm and that is why I chose this wool chunky sweater that has some nautical elements with the buttons running down the sleeve and paired it with jeans. I kept it simple with skinny jeans but added some styling elements by cuffing the jeans. I kept the look simple with ballet flats and a couple of rings for my accessories.

Outfit # 110 & 111

I wanted to bring some brightness on this cold weather that we have been having lately and that is why I chose to pair this bright yellow and white polka dot blouse. I love this blouse because of all the fun detailing it has. I wanted this outfit to be young and fresh and that is why I paired them with a dark washed wide leg trouser jean. I wanted to add another color to the mix and chose a cobalt blue bracelet which really pops against the yellow. A white watch ties in with the white in the blouse and completes the freshness of the outfit. To finish the look off, I chose silver flats and that keeps it simple and youthful.

Saturday's look is just as fun and fresh as Friday's. I used this blouse last week with a pair of blue jeans but this week, I freshened the look up be adding green cords and a why and navy striped scarf. This look plays with texture by having many different types of fabric which makes the look interesting. I chose nude heels so the focus would be on the outfit and make it really pop. I chose a silver multi-chain bracelet with blue stone accents. I also chose a white leather watch to play off the white in the scarf.

Outfit # 109: Black and Red

I wanted to go for an outfit that channelled my inner Audrey Hepburn. I went with a bright red pair of ankle pants or also known as cigarette pants (in the Audrey Hepburn era). Red and black look really sharp together and since I went with a skinny cut on bottom, I decided to go with a more flowy cut on top and that is why I went with a ruffled layer on top. Since it was cold this week, I chose to pair a black slouchy cardigan with it. A skinny red patent leather belt breaks up the black on top and black ballet flats break up the red on bottom; making this look conservative but with a old 60's feel.

Outfit #108: Color

I wanted to experiment with more color blocking and since blue and green look really good together, pairing a 3/4 sleeve navy shirt with some green cords would look good. I wanted to incorporate more color and therefore, chose this multi color scarf. I thought adding this scarf would be a great touch to this outfit because it has the same green as the pants and instead of having just a plain navy t-shirt, the scarf adds some refinement. I also wanted to play with my hair so I added a wide white headband. Stud earrings and a white watch finish off this look. I chose silver ballet flats as a neutral tone to this look.

Outfit # 107: Nothing But Chic

This would be the perfect fun outfit if you can wear anything to work. I took this skirt from the last time and toned it down from the rocker look. Instead of the hard glam look, I made it more sophisticated by adding a boyfriend blazer and put it over a ruffled tank top. I gave the look a bit of an edge with a black and silver studded belt. I added tights and platform booties. I kept my accessories silver to tie in with the silver on the belt. I didn't add a necklace because I was wearing ruffles on top.

Outfit # 104, 105,106

First off, I would like to apologize for the lack of not keeping up with the past couple days. It was a busy weekend. For Saturday's outfit, I went simple with some blue skinny jeans and a navy blue light weight blouse that cinches in at the waist. Now, I know this isn't winter wear but I am so over the cold and am looking forward to spring. I kept the accessories to a minimum with a white watch and a silver flower ring. I wanted to change the black shoes to nude ones for leg lengthening and to create a contrast with the blouse.

For Sunday's outfit I went for a sporty casual look as usual. Sports wear fashion is going to be a huge trend this spring and I would love to get some sporty fashionable tanks. I encourage this also if that is your cup of tea. So I took a black cotton flowy skirt and put a simple black t-shirt underneath. I created huge contrast with a white hooded Adidas track jacket with pink detailing. No accessories just comfort all the way. Lastly, I finished this look off with my awesome Adidas fashion athletic shoe.

Monday is completely simple and no fuss attached. Like Sunday's outfit, I opted out of wearing accessories. You can totally add them to this outfit but I chose not to. It's getting cold here now and that is no fun so I chose to put a black chunky cable knit sweater jacket over a black and cream striped shirt. I paired them with skinny jeans and no fuss ballet flats. This could also be considered a Sunday outfit but sometimes we aren't ready for Monday and therefore we would still like it to be the weekend and dress as though it is. No fuss, comfy and warm!

Outfit # 103: Friday Night Sequence

This look is something I would wear on a night out. I chose to wear this silver sequint shrug with a metallic slouchy tank top because of the similarity in color and I think they play off of each other. I was also going for contrast and a mix in texture. The light and the dark look great together and each piece of clothing is a different texture. I chose ribbon suede shoes for a girly touch.  Since I am wearing sequins on top, I chose not to wear a necklace and chose to go heavy on the accessories at my wrists. I stayed with silver accessories to stay with the theme of the rest of the outfit.

Outfit # 102: Skirts and Plaid Shirts

I took a colorful plaid button up and put it with a distressed skirt. I included accessories that are the same color of one of the colors in the shirt and I did that so that specific color would pop out of the shirt. I layered a white tank top underneath. I added my Emu boots because I was going for somewhat of a California vibe.  Plus with the 50 and 60 degree weather we have been having in Colorado lately, I thought this look would be appropriate.

Outfit #101: Winter White and Color Galore

I am loving winter white pants and wearing white year round. Rachel Zoe said herself, "Not wearing white after Labor day isn't a rule anymore. Where any shade of white you like whenever you want!" Therefore, I paired a very colorful top with these white trouser pants. I chose this top for two reasons; one, because it's full of color and two, the white in the shirt pops when paired with the white trousers. I love the style of this blouse. Especially the halter style turtleneck detailing. I added cobalt blue shoes to play off the cobalt shirt. I kept my accessories silver with a silver bracelet that has tiny blue gems within the bracelet, a silver ball ring, and a white and silver watch.
